Long story short riding my bike. Entering the crosswalk, i have the walk sign. Guy thinks he's hot stuff and can beat me on his left turn. I smash into his right rear panel and go flying.

I've heard mixed reports on whether or not game playing is advised. Anyone have concrete info or personal experience?

Because the place you want to go for health advice is the place where people say their friend told them they could burn games using their microwave and the next nintendo game will make your cat's face explode if you pirate it.

maybe you should ask a doctor about that....
I think it's related to how serious it is....my friend got a concussion for doing a header in football(I mean soccer to you yanks [IMG] ) lol and he stayed indoors for about 2-3 days....didn't even come to classes.

I couldn't get a hold of the doctor. talked to a nurse. Wasn't really expecting genius replies but i thought i'd ask around haha.

I go in for a follow up june 2nd and the nurse said i shouldn't play at all. Between red dead redemption and super mario galaxy 2 and my boredom it's gonna be a hard 2 weeks lol.

That sucks...a lot. Do you have a girl/boyfriend of any sort? I would go mad without video games or my girlfriend for 1.5 weeks.

DO NOT TAKE MY ADVICE BUT, as long as you can handle some stress without going into a seizure and you can handle watching video ~60 fps, one would think that you'd be ok. But again, I am not a doctor, so don't take my advice!

If you wanna play games and don't want stress, don't play Red Dead Redemption, it's much more stressful then Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Sure, you probably can handle RDR or other kind of violence usually, but better play it safe now.

Um, ask your doctor? It's the best solution. I don't know many people in the field of medicine here, or in my life in general. Just go to your general doctor and ask him/her. Or you can try looking it up on one of those self-help medical sites. Don't know if those are any good though.

I've suffered multiple concussions in my life and I was never told that I couldn't play video games while recovering from one of them.

Best advice I can give you: Take it easy and don't take anymore bumps to the head in the next month or so. Avoid drug use (even beer) for a week or so. Basically just give yourself time to heal.
