I have a pirated version of mario kart 8 on the wii u.


I want to legally go into the wii u online shop and download the DLC.


Will they detect the piracy and ban the whole console somehow?

From my understanding, to get DLC you need to do a complex hack. But getting a game is easy, I used the simple hack

Download the DLC with Wii U usb helper and install with WUP installer GX2. This is the same process to get and install a game.

to get DLC/e-shop games you need CFW

he must have used the method to install full games without CFW

Lol..... Rookie mistake by me, you are correct!

To fully mod your console however is certainly not hard and less than half the price of the dlc.... Not to mention the endless other possibilities it brings.

There are lots of tutorials to do so and help is always available right here.

btw, mario kart 8 is one of the games that has free dlc. you can transpose the tickets in the ticket bucket (located in my fake ticket tutorial). you can install all the fake dlc, then download the free dlc. transpose the tickets, and all dlc will work without cfw as only the first ticket (the free dlc with legit ticket) will be checked. the others are ignored, which is a major fuck up by nintendo. you can buy dlc for a pirated game I believe. each (game and dlc) will use a different ticket.
