Hardware I wanna buy ON3DS XL, can someone help ?

hi, I wanna buy an old N3ds XL
and ofc I wanna be able to play games for free buy installing CFW
so my question is, if I buy new Nintendo 3DS XL Black/Black from amazon, new from the box
will the system firmware be under 9.2 ?

Not sure about that one, but look at this recent post:

... which suggests that "Black Nintendo 3DS XL with (Pre-installed) Super Mario 3D Land Game" (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B017EI5BK4/812463-20/?tag=igndeals14-20) comes with 8.1 firmware. It has also been confirmed in a post on reddit. I also ordered one a few days ago so I'll probably be able to add to the confirmation. If you buy an old 3DS (O3DS-- N3DS usually refers to the 3DS with "new" in the product name), it apparently should come with 9.2 or less-- if it doesn't then you may have received a previously owned product.

EDIT: Also, it seems that more and more people are beginning to order them. I ordered mine on the 26th (Thursday). Estimated to arrive on Sunday (Prime 2-day), then changed to Monday, then Tuesday, now it says it will arrive Wednesday.

Yes, most items on Amazon have free returns but I don't remember whether or not if it actually has to say that on the product page. In my case, I'll probably return mine if the firmware isn't under 9.2 regardless.
