Why did I do that? How is it better?
One is boot should be faster, did you notice any difference in boot times with b9 as compared to a9
Boot time seems the same.
Because Luma3DS will only be supporting sighax from here on out. So I guess that's a pretty solid reason right there.
Valid enough reason
Plus, most payloads will be .firms from now on.
Can I upgrade to 126.96.36.199E at B9S without worrying?
ya fam, you're good.
So far at 188.8.131.52E and waiting for now
No need to wait, JUMP ON IN!
You might be able to bypass the 3ds's title limit but I'm not quite shure
Annoyingly still on 11.2 because I have a need to retain GW support, which hasn't been updated yet.
What the heck is b9? is there going to be a c9 afterward too?
Boot9Strap is the newest hack released for the 3ds. Its superior to A9LH and will allow for better customization of CFW among other things.
What's a B9S & why is it better them al9h? & should I install it? if yes, How should I install it on 11.4 Luma A9lh?
Step 1. follow "the Guide" on updating to Bott9strap
Step 2. ??????
Step 3. Profit.
boot9strap, implementation of sighax, a BOOTROM exploit
More flexible for devs, nothing major for the end user (as of now)
How is it better then a9lh? What's new on it & is it good for the future?
As of now, there is not much of a benifit aside from faster boot times. However, in the future...
payloads will switch from .bin to .firm
More applications will be made for B9S
Luma will no longer support A9LH
first time i read about b9s, what boot times are faster? the first time you boot up your 3ds?
or would games boot faster.
i have both my og and n3ds on a9lh with updated sysNAND luma cfw.
is it better to update to this new b9s now or worth waiting, considering some saying it is not so major for end users but more for devs.
This won't really give much more functionality to the end user. A9LH was sufficient enough to have the 300 limit passed, but no one made a patch for it. (same goes with custom home menus)
