regardless, holding reset still wont achieve a thing, even if he was to have bootmii as boot2, which i doubt.

He could boot into HBC from bootmii and use wadmanager to install a ios60.wad. But, like you said, I doubt he has it installed.

the point im trying to make here is that holding reset wont boot bootmii. you need the bootmii files on your sd card to load bootmii (along with a boot2 installation).

holding reset is a preloader thing.

i have bootmii as boot2, and can hold reset as much as i like, but unless the sd card with the right files is in the sd slot, nothing is going to happen.

1. Why does a gba forum have so many wii hackers?
A: show me some? lol 99% of user of this forum are just that, USERS not creators

2. Why don't all of the hackers go to a wii hacking forum instead of this forum?
A: they do, wiibrew forum, teknoconsolas, tehskeen, IRC etc.

3. Why don't all of these hack go to the wiibrew forum?
A: because what happens here is best not classed as true hacking, its more the discussion and usage of hacks and exploits that where born on other forums and usually IRC and the majority of the content here revolves around piracy which would never be allowed on wiibrew or anywhere near wiidev

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
