All of you has seen me lately xD

Anyways, I was reading the BBM's Description and I found this:

Never enter the extra content or DLC options inside the games or else the DLC you installed will disappear. If they disappear, you'll have to install them again.

Is it normal? Because I have SSB4 3DS (retail) and I installed the SSB DLC via BBM and it just disappears when I want to play again on another occasion.

The thing is that I never enter on Eshop after I install. Just it does automatically. And then I have to install it again. (Also with the other games like StreetPass, FE: Fates, Senran Kagura)

I obviously have unlinked NANDs and I have NNID linked to my EmuNAND.

The only DLC that disappears for me is the Street Pass DLC. And that disappears almost every other time I open the app, regardless of going to the eshop or not.

Some games will check the eshop for DLC updates on launch. some will do it when you open the DLC menu, most won't unless you specifically hit "Look for new DLC".

Essentially the 3DS connects to the eShop, checks your account and goes "hey, this DLC isn't on your list. *delete*"

So, shut off your network connection before you play a game that has DLC. it's one of the limitations that haven't been worked out yet.

I've been reading about this since January but weird thing is that going into the eshop hasn't been deleting my dlcs for some reason, what does it delete is my custom theme tho.

In other words, I have to install the DLCs offline first?

I did it hours ago and for now is good!

    Hey people!

I can confirm that DLC CIAs can be permanent indeed without disappearances!
Just turn off wi-fi and then install all type of things you want then turn on wi-fi and it will be legit forever. :) Thanks @Ericjwg for the tip!

AFAIK if you install DLC Cia and then enter something that causes your NNID to be checked, your dlc will disappear

Yeah I had this happen a lot. After getting super pissed I just dumped my ticket.db and downloaded all of my paid eShop stuff as cias and formatted emunand. Reinstalled everything plus my paid eShop game cias and didn't bother relinking my NNID.

I didn't do anything complicated, I just installed the DLC offline and it never goes. :0

Also I have my NNID linked!

DLC is only deleted when there's an NNID linked to emuNAND. I don't have one and I can go onto eshop just fine.
