I don't understand why it would, as long as the homebrew has DLDI support (which pretty much all modern homebrew has).

Crappy is such a harsh word. The M3DS Real's autoDLDI patches slower than the rest, and has problem with ONE popular homebrew game (can't remember which one it is), therefore everyone thinks it is crap. The truth is, the M3DS Real's homebrew capabilities is just as capable as any other cart, just overeaction on other people's parts.

What homebrew does it have problems with?

i don't see much wrong with ncard, except the gba transfer pack, which actually is being replaced with the new transfer adapter (in some clones etc).

Oh and M3 Real needs homebrew on root LOL

Not sure, but I love the fact that every second post in the N-Card forum is a "Help" thread about some game not working or some game's save not working. I don't really know, but I'm thinking my R4 & CycloDS was a better choice.
