So I went to use ZiPhone with my iPod Touch and something didn't work right because now all my iPod does when I turn it on is go through a shitload of random codes and then repeat the same line over and over:

    BSD root: md0, major 2, minor 0

And I can't get my computer to detect it when I plug it in (neither through iTunes or through Windows Explorer).

    So yeah... Am I hooped?

I don't think it's even possible to brick an iPod touch. Just reboot in DFU mode (hold both buttons for 10 seconds, then release the lock button and hold the home button for 10 seconds) and iTunes will recognize and restore you iPod.

Yeah I was doing that and nothing would happen... but it's because I had it disconnected at the time. I tried a few more times with the USB cable connected and the connect to iTunes icon finally popped up.

ZiPhone worked fine the second time I installed it, I must have just messed up the first time somehow.
