Should of just installed emunand because this is not going to work with new games

Ok install menuhax,(google it if you dont know how) download the cias for NEW 3ds 9.2 for your region and update using safesysupdater and poblem solved after that for the love of God create a emunand.

Yeah warning the thread that got Linked Xenon quoted outdated modules in his version he probably corss referenced them with 3ds title db which wasnt updated.

I already tried this and had the freezing issues which i fixed on emunand by copying me title and import db to a fresh install to keep my games and saves.

I also updated my own post with the WORKING files for EU N3DS

Needless to say if you tried this on Sysnand without reading into the thread and my warning or using the other working tutorial then you kinda are semi to blame for your new softbrick

Thats not needed the correct files are compatible with both Old and N3ds

the problem is with what he has done he cannot update, i had this issue aswell which i fixed via backups because of misinforation on files i mentioned.

Basically the console just hangs when loading any app including settings so he cannot even update

I should have warned ppl about this thread, the N3ds support in that thread has the wrong friend module. I installed it and got the same problem as the op but thanks god i made a backup beforehand. Look like the op only option now is to update to 10.5

Is wifi on and can you connect to it? If so leave it on and put the system to sleep. Let it download the update and hopefully you can install it.

Otherwise try safe mode, update it then sell it and buy another one.

That sucks but this is why every single tut says to setup Emunand and make a Nand backup. Do you have a Nand backup if you do you can hard mod and flash your backup to Sysnand or if you dont have one update to 10.5 in the recovery menu and do this http://gbatemp.net/threads/wip-hard...of-native_firm-from-10-4-10-5-to-10-2.412836/ so you can downgrade back to 9.2.

i have a nand back up but how do i hard mod?
so do i update or how do i do it?
