Hacking I think I found a workaround for Ghostbusters, need others to test.

Hey.. noticed a lot of people are having problems getting Ghostbusters to load. I got it to work using a method I used years ago with the IOS patcher for certain games, and it's seemed to work for me... want someone else to test it and tell me their results.

PROBLEM:
Ghostbusters freezes at the Wii Strap safety load screen.

SOLUTION:
Push home 100000x times and hope it loads, or eject the disk (but who the hell wants to do that..)

(Vista has to run as administrator)

Drag the ISO file on top of the .exe file (after unzipping) and you don't have to type the path to the ISO in. You want to type in 249 at the prompt so it loads off Waninkoko's cIOS or wherever your cIOS is that you load backups from.

Continuously press A as it's loading to keep the Wii Remote from turning off, and the game should load no problem. Let me know your results!

NeoGamma seems to work with it. And your solution is mainly useful for games that do IOS Reloading.

Probably would help with a game with extra protections though, like Ghostbusters.

I don't have the Wii version so I can't see for myself.

I've already burned it, so I have to push the HOME button during the safety strap screen to make it load or eject the disc?

Newest version of NeoGamma works for me, no need to push A/Home, or eject game.

All you need is a decent loader and you should have no issues booting Ghostbusters without having to bother with any of these "fixes".

-Anti 002 Fix - ON

Check those two settings and presto

You shouldn't even have to Force NTSC if the disc and your system are from the same region. All you need to do is turn on your Anti 002 fix.

Depends on the cIOS
some need Anti002 fix, others the normal 002 fix

Use USB-Loder GX and select the above settings..Its easy and most newer games need this..

Also BackUp Luncher Neo Gamma 4 will load these newer games with no problem..

cIOS 38 rev12 and that works for me i didnt try without forcing region but ill give it a shot now and see.

Well i guess region forcing isnt necessary but yea the 002 fix by itself is all it needs.
