Exactly, it's just a bunch of crap. And it's such a bunch of crap, I'm not sure they should bother investing any thought into it at all.
Then why did they make this?Exactly, it's just a bunch of crap. And it's such a bunch of crap, I'm not sure they should bother investing any thought into it at all.
rabid fans pestered the hell out of them till they made something up.
TY Mr.Nintendo, or do you have esp?And immediately forgot about it
Sorry, but I'm a huge zelda fan and even I agree with him. The timeline they made is complete bullshit.TY Mr.Nintendo, or do you have esp?
Of course, for the games that came out way before it, but that doesn't mean they can't/didn't put thought into it for this game. If they spent all that time on the TL, then actually why wouldn't they going fwd?Sorry, but I'm a huge zelda fan and even I agree with him. The timeline they made is complete bullshit.
I wish I knew the answer to that, but they did NOT take the timeline into consideration when making botw. No way. If you disagree, feel free to tell me where and how it fits.Of course, for the games that came out way before it, but that doesn't mean they can't/didn't put thought into it for this game. So the game has references. What's your point?Hyrule Castle's placement is from Twilight Princess. Mural near Zora's Domain mention Ruto being a sage. Mabe Village Ruins (Link's Awakening reference). An island named after Linebeck.
Well duh.... Zelda is fiction. They can write whatever they want. Doesn't change the point, however, that it doesn't fit in the timeline anywhere. Naming lakes and towns from other games from completely seperate timelines doesn't exactly help your case.Any time line could share similarities as well as differences.
They might not have taken it into account, or maybe they did. Its just annoying when people act like they know something for certain that is clearly speculation. Unless Nintendo comes out and says, hey we did/did not consider the TL at all when making the game, then we know nothing for certain one way or the other.Well duh.... Zelda is fiction. They did make an official statement, see my link a few posts back. They said this game takes place after ocarina of time. I'm saying based on what I saw in game, that's bullshit. They might not have taken it into account, or maybe they did.
