Hacking I still have a phat + GBAMP

Hey everyone,
Right now I have the most ghetto of a homebrew solution possible. That is, a scratched up DS phat and a GBAMP.

Anyway, I've been thinkning about getting a new flash-cart over and over again, and would have gotten one to play pokemon, except there weren't any carts compatible with wireless download play.

So on to the point, I want to get some kind of cart, that will
a. play DS backups
b. do at least some download play stuff (maybe something that is likely to get updated for it later on)
c. Run Opera

As for running Opera, I know you need a Ram pack, but I'm not sure if there is such a thing for my old DS.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

most slot 1 flash carts support download play on most games, and as for ram pack for ds phat then yeah ez flash v expansion is for ds phat.

yeah, the few sites i have checked out have one for the DSlite, but not a regular GBA-sized one

supercard SD and miniSD will have the rom expansion necessary to run opera. also G6's and M3's (when you transfer them to thier GBA shell)

The 3in1 isn't exactly expensive (compared to the full featured cards). If you just want the RAM pack, why not just buy one online (Though I'm not sure where you can get an official one without buying the browser package. Best choice is the 3in1

Yeah, the 3in1 is a great deal, but i dont think theres anyway to find it for my phat DS

Fat DSes get a modest price on ebay still. Do that to cover most of the cost of a DS Lite, and you'll be happy. On longer play sessions, the fat DS's weight would put strain on my hands.

And the brighter screen is very, very nice.

And thank you so much dbgtdob, i can't wait to get this and a G6 Real. If I eventually do get a DS lite, the cart sticking out just a little bit will be no big deal, especially when compared to the cancerous growth on my current DS some people call a movie player.

actual there is soon going to be a G6 real 3in1 and a M3 real 3 in1, so you could wait for those if you wish they will be exactly the same although you might need to wait for someone to hack them to work on other flash cards like they did the ez flash v 3in1.

Really? If thats the case I will wait, mainly because that site wants 20 AU bucks (I think around 18 USD) for shipping.

Or maybe some other site will start carrying phat DS 3-in-one packs.
