Hacking I Still Find These Reports Fascinating...

I still find it fascinating that "marcan" has access to WiiU reports, like the ones below.
I realize that it is an impersonator program, but that is still some impressive data!
You would think that something in there would be able to be exploited.

Despite him saying there's little to no interest in homebrew on the Wii U, I think this is enough evidence that their still working on documenting everything about it.

Seeing WHAT has changed does not tell HOW it could be exploited. Not getting nuts/bolts of an IOS or WII U side "stuff." Marcan and f0f have it hacked wide open, but others do not (who admit it publicly) have the necessary information This "update scraper" has been out for a while, thanks for sharing. If tri-core linux team succeeds then maybe we might get more in the way of hacking. HOWEVER, other than Ukey, I would not hold my breath. EVEN if tri-core succeeds, there is no guarantee Marcan will give more (see his blog, "Shot of espresso") information and EVEN if he did, it won't open up a full softmod like with the Wii. If you see something useful, share, but don't hold your breath waiting for it to lead anywhere.

Where do you see "dev"? Marcan made update scraper public. It grabs info to show what was updated. I did not see any mention of a dev unit. Marcan does what he wants, probably has whatever he wants also, lol.

That's output from Wiimpersonator, so it just means it's "Wiimpersonating" a dev machine. Wiimpersonator doesn't run on a Wii or Wii U (unless it's running in Linux on one of those machines ).
