This whole last week most of my topics/posts has lead to intense debates, spam, flaming and it's generally because I like debating. I like being challenged at the same time as challenging users in return. Over the last few years I have come to realized we need to challenge why we believe the things we do. Challenge why we would want to grow grass, challenge why we like to spend lots of money on stuff like shoes and movies. The topics I have posted in have gain bad reputation based on my ignorance to keep challenging either myself or other people.

So, it's time to turn the tables a little bit. Instead of having a thread speculating on some kind of controversial debate or some intense potential spam/flame war. I'm going to show a video sporting my Pi shirt and a dance I came up with. It's supposed to be humorous, so please don't bother criticizing =P

    Here goes nothing:

I agree with the need to challenge things, even more so after taking a Sociology course in high school. But there are better ways to do it.

About the dance, the one and only comment expresses it all.

Haha, I'll try and keep this thread intense free but you are completely correct. Usually in sociology oppression is studied and people can go in self fulfilling prophecies down a spiral path. If someone feels oppressed in a society, they really need to challenge that idea so they don't fall down that path.

Exactly how I feel. Although change can be hard to accomplish, it's sometimes necessary.

Don't worry about it. I love a good debate as well (granted I know enough about the subject, of course). I don't want to hold you against something you love, just make sure it doesn't get too out of hand again. Most of the time I'll go a post or two off topic and then continue a debate in a PM.

    Also nice dance o.o

If I could dance I would totally dance like that.

    That was hilarious.
I shall possibly join you in your debates at a future time.
For now, those were some great lulz.

Hahaha, nice one! [IMG] Now THIS is what you need to do more, be humorous and don't always think as a mathematician, even if it's hard [IMG]

    And nice t-shirt :Pi:

As it gets to the end it sounds like the warp core is going to breach at any moment...

The dance looked like a person in an advanced state of delirium fighting off a swarm of imaginary bees. The bees won in the end.

LMAO... I'll get those bee's next time. Even though the video was uploaded recently, it was done quite a while ago. For some odd reason, I will go to my university parties and randomly create dances similar to say but incorporate more double jointed stuff like playing jump rope with my arms.

    Damn those bees!
