Hacking I start a burned disk and get sent back to the wii menu. HELP.

I did the steps that made it so I can use burned dvds through the disk channel or gecko. (I used the "Make Gecko OS play burned dvds!" steps. I got dvdx after that. Is that bad?)

I entered through the disk channel and nothing. Just sent to wii menu.

Could someone give me a remote idea as to why I'm sent to the wii menu? Please?

You can't use the disc channel to play burned games. You gotta start the game from gecko.
