    I don't quite get what this is... is it a WAD manager alternative or does it require different cIOS, etc.?

    Looks like just an alternative for WAD manager. But it supports Hermes CIOS, which I don't think wanin's WAD installer does.

    wanin's can use hermes cIOSs

    IMHO, the best wad manager is YAWMM, it can do soooooo much more than either of these other wad managers (but of course it is based on wanin's wad manager, so hard to say one is better than the other)

    I only notice that it can go to different directories. That seems to be the only actual upside there, to me.

    what does it mean increase the size of the console? As in the NAND? Is this some new development i haven't heard about it?

    As in the amount of WADs able to be displayed, I guess I should of worded it better.

    wad is pretty good and classic so few older ppl will change to this but maybe newer guides may address this
