Hello.

After getting the GDEMU for the Dreamcast i want to get an VGA Cable for it.

And now i have to wait and tremble.....

It says:

You can pre-order it but is expected to "appear"

Wonder why it’s so bad, it’s not as if there aren’t already VGA cables.

That is a bit pricey for that VGA Cable!!! I bought an HDMI Cable for Dreamcast and VGA Cable both for less than half that price and they arrived within couple days to a week off EBay.

I also have a Clone GDEMU I believe and it awesome!!!

I also nabbed a SD Card Adapter which plugs in the Serial Port in the back.

I still have to solder my board for the IDE to the other Dreamcast

The HDMI Cable is gone but Pound HDMI is on there so is the Card Reader if interested I specifically wanted the SD Reader for extra Comparability if needed and to be able to Copy VMU Saves to it.

Hello.

I found my Video Cable and tried it today.Great thing this GDEMU.No need of an HDD Mod.
But i do buy the VGA cable later.

Thats the main reason for the GDEMU.Unfortunately I do not have the continuous endurance for soldering about 40 cables in a row on an surface of a stamp.On this way I´ve destroyed a Dreamcast.

That is for my other Dreamcast the GDRom Laser Dead. Makes soldering a bit easier no wires just points instead but still a very tedious task

This looks pretty cool have seen them a few times price not bad.

The pico psu is a nice luxury mod but it's not essential. You can mitigate some of the extra heat by adding an alternative 12v load such as another small fan. I have 2 noctua fans in mine, one 5v in the normal position and one 12v in the back.

I think about an other Fan.Now if the "scratchy/creaky" GDROM-Drive is out,the Dreamcast Fan is "unpleasant" noisy.

Yes, I noticed the same thing so swapped it for a noctua one. You do need the 3d printed part to attach it though.

Looking for some advice. Just got a 2nd DC which I'd like to mod. Which route do I need to go for the SD mod? Also, I have a VGA cable but my TV has no input. Can you recommend a VGA to HDMI converter?

I got a Dreamcast HDMI cheap and works well looks great you can get a SD Reader too both off EBay the HDMI was not made by Pound in was unbranded cheap from China.

Problem with these hdmi "solutions" is the are prone to noise
And some artifiacting

Yes unfortunately that is true but so is VGA I also have a VGA Box and get the same but even so the Picture Quality is better than RF lol or even S Video or Scart.
