-Closed- Resolved by work arounds.

Wii usb loaders are detecting Fat32 USB HDD but Nintendont can play games using the same HDD

I have installed Cios DX 249, 250 and 251 but still not working.

Thank you in advance.

Nintendont uses IOS58. I think it requires the latest version of IOS58 as well.
Are you running the GC games from a USB loader, or directly from Nintendont? Is the Nintendont dol file in the correct path where the USB loader expects it? (should be SD:\apps\Nintendont\boot.dol I think - do not leave it as loader.dol)
If you haven't tried running Nintendont directly from HBC, try that - if that loads games successfully then something is wrong with your USB loader config.

Thank you for the reply, I am using Nintendont from homebrew channel, I can play games using HDD but now I think I messed up some IOS because when loading games on USB, my wii turns off in Nintendont, but I can play games on SD WII using cfg usb loader and GC games in Nintendont. My hdd works fine on my other wii cfg loader and Nintendont witout problems

I think I know what the problem is, the usb port 0 is damaged, I have tried usb 1 and Nintendont is loading fine with all games, I have used Wiiflow and selected usb 2 and the games that I have with hdd appeared but does not load, is there a way for me to use CFG usbloader and boot in usb 1 instead? I am more familiar with using cfg.

Hello,

Your HBC is not on the good IOS (61), reinstall the HBC by launching "" Hackmii install "" since the HBC, you do "Unistall", then without leaving the application you do "Install". And your HBC will be on IOS 58.

To use port 1 of your Wii, change the CIOS 249, 250, and 251 with this version of CIOS ==> d2x-v10beta53-alt
then fill in your LOADERS that you use port 1.

If you have any concerns with the CIOS d2X, or it does not work, you can always install the version of CIOS D2X that suits you.

I will try updating my HBC then, I have tried using USBloader gx and it loads the games in USB port 1 but some games are not working with it, when using d2x-v10beta53-alt 249 my HDD won't initiate does not load games. The HDD is not initializing.

Have you updated the HBC on the good IOS ??

With USB LOADER GX, in the LOADER settings change the CIOS 249 by 58, and restart USB LOADER GX.

You say this ==> "" some games do not work "" ==> so change the cios in the settings of your game and put the CIOS 250.

I have updated my homebrew channel but the issue stays the same, my HDD on initialized when using Hermes Cios 222 or 223 in USB loader gx, but when using DX cios 249 and 250 the HDD does notinitialized, a lot of games are not working with GX, but I can play them on CFG loader on my old wii, is there a way to use CFG usb loader using USB 1?

Thank you for helping me, but I guess the USB port on my wii slot 0 is already busted, I gave up on using the said US slot, I am now trying to make use of USB slot 1 instead and use CFG usb loader if possible.

That sounds like either the Nintendont path is set wrong in the USB loader, or the Nintendont settings are wrong in the USB loader. But most likely the former.

I can play GC games using Nintendont if I plug the USB on slot 1 without problems, but if I use slot 0 the wii turns off when I load a game.

You should update the 360 to newest dash before RGHing it yes. But not a big deal if you don't, you can install new dash/avatar updates after. It's just easier to do it auto online before, instead manual offline after.

@BigOnYa I wanted to ask you about your experience with seeing south park. Most of the people a bit younger like my younger brother and cousins that are a few younger than me that saw kids found south park funny because of the curse words, kids at school, that seemed like liking the show on a very basic level.

I could not quite have a in depth discussion of the show.

How was it for you? As an adult. What did you find the most interesting part about it. Did you relate to the parents of the kids and their situations. Was it satires, the commentary on society. The references on celebrities' and pop culture.
