Hacking I need help with fixing my r4itt cards

For the carts that are not detected at all, try gently cleaning the contacts of the cart. I USB PCB cleaner on some carts that were temperamental and they are detected every time now. The not detected at all is a different problem to the white screen / menu not loading.

I dont have pcb cleaner, is there an alternative?

thanks it helped now i have two working flashcarts(both with whitescreens though)

What system are you testing with. DS, DSi or 2/3DS?

Do you have the original files from before you started changing anything? If you can list the original file names it might help point us in the right direction.

Im using my dsi, i have one on 1.42 and one on 1.45 both with twilightmenu and unlaunch but not hiya because i have an 8gb sd card. I dont have the original files but i remember it being a _rpg folder and a system.sys. There maybe was a _ds_menu.dat too.

I couldn't figure out how to boot a flashcard from Twilight Menu at all, so I may not be the best to help. I decided I didn't like it anyway and I use unlaunch and Hiya.

do u even think there is a chance i can find the firmware for the flashcarts?

I think with it in front of me I'd figure it out, probably with a lot of trial and error. It depends how determined you are but I think it's possible

BTW the one you opened... Don't write that one off. Keep the pictures so you don't have to open again and couple of tiny dots of super glue where the legs snapped and its good to go.

it doesnt matter one of the two i opened cant be put back together so i will just use that one if needed
