Hardware I need help reformatting my Micro SD card D=

When I connect it to the computer and select the Removable Disk, "My Computer" freezes and goes to "Not Responding".

I tried formatting it in another device too but it says Card Error and wont format.

Help?

I dont think that works. Each time I choose the G: drive, the program freezes because it cant find the card

I think your card might just be completely dead. This sort of thing happened to my Memory Stick Duo. It wasn't fixable.

A flash memory has limited write overs.
Never ones can be overwriten like 1.000.000 times..
But after that the flash memory dies..

And you cant do ANYTHING to make it live again.

Try going to control panel>administrative tools>computer management>disk management and see if your card appears there. If it does, format that sucker in the same window

Aw damn.... I think it is dead. I have no idea how though =\

This happened to me before but I fixed it by doing that chkdsk g: /f thing but now it wont do squat.

Ehhhhh...

Anyone know where to get a cheap 2 gig Micro SD?
