Hacking I need confirmation on my next step...

HI, I have a 4.1U and have installed Homebrew... I have installed Bootmii as an IOS... I have run a NAND backup and now... I want to do preloader...
Should that be my next step?
OR should I goto WAD manager and install IOS 36..? or 249...? or do the Trucha Bug...?

Or should I install a custom IOS 60 before I do the preloader... I hear that leads to bricks

I have read so many different guides, I have to be honest, I feel like I am confusing myself (which really isn't that hard)

Please take it easy on me, I am a newbie at this...

With 4.1, after doing the Trucha Bug Restore, do I install IOS 60 patched and THEN preloader...
I am really afraid to make a mistake here...

Ok After you trucha bug IOS36. Run Custom IOS installer 36 and choose to install as 36.


Then run DOP IOS MODv8 or v6 from wiibrew.org

And install IOS60 with sig hash check. Then install Preloader.

What is DOP IOS MODv8? Cant find it in wiibrew...

If your Wii was bought in September 2009 or later then it will NOT read backups

I read the goddamn stickies... tyvm... there are 50 goddamn guides to read, not all on this site, how do I know this is the be all and end all of modding sites, the others think they are too. They have different tutorials with similar yet slightly different variations, and it is easy to get goddamn confussed as you go along.. "if you have this, you need that, but if you have that then you need this..."

So before you condemn me for asking a stupid fucking question, FORGIVE ME!!!! we are all new this once!!!!

I only wish I could be as knowledgable and respectful as half of you...
