I found this band called Amy Can Flyy, I really like the music however I can't stand the vocals. Its so emo that it makes me not want to listen to it, but its so awesome! I try to sit through a song and I just can't do it. So I need a vocal remover or reducer, can anyone help me?

Btw, Amy Can Flyy is like Nintendoemo, its fucking awesome but as I said I hate emo vocals.

unless you have master tapes you won't really be able to do much about it.

sorry to break it to ya, but you gotta listen to the god awful singer

Might be a far shot but ... there's always something like GuitarPro. Just download a tab that should have all instruments included, disable the vocals if you'd like and capture the audio output with another program.

well... all joking aside, I like the aforementioned notion of using guitar pro.
I use tuxguitar, which is basically a free version. Still really good.
You were complaining about the midi sounding bad though.
Just download a better sounding soundbank and have the program use that. [IMG]
That's what I've done with tuxguitar, and it really helps to get my ideas down and have my band members learn the songs, so we can get together and practice without having to sit each other down and teach it to each other.

My soundcard has a button in the settings that does a good job of taking out the vocals. It's a Realtek HD soundscard built into my motherboard.

It's in the sound settings in the control panel.

Thanks for the other suggestion guys. I tried the Audacity way, it works but not in the way I want it to. I want to keep the chiptunes in and the vocals out. It removes the vocals but also the chiptunes so I am only left with drums, bass, and guitar. [IMG]

I don't think that would happen.

"Hey, I really like your music, however the vocals suck huge donkey dong. Could you please give me the songs without the vocals? Thanks!"

not everysong can have the vocals removed. from what i know, it really on how the somg is mixed.
eg. live music. you cant remove vocals because well, its recorded together. not recorded seperate and compiled into one.
