pokemon shuffles qr exploit only works on o3ds with older verion of web browser...
thats why its not working on n3ds...

just question, does anyone owns a hacked save (using QR on o3ds) with a lots of hearts, coins and gems and share using savedatafiler? then import this save on n3ds? does this work?

thanks and have a nice day...

For starters, the exploit doesn't work on emunand, you'd have to be on sysnand for that, and the current version blocks the exploit.
Pokemon Shuffle came out after 9.2 so theres no way to get working on 9.2 (From what I know at least, I think a few people have tried with no success).
As a result, SDF couldn't have been used to extract the hacked save so my best bet is that there is no hacked saved available for the game.

Importing with savedatafiler is fraught with issues. For a start it must be linked to the same NNID, so that rules out most options. The title also has a protection that prevents an older time-stamped save being used, I came across this problem when I'd tried to move my save from one console to another, overwriting a newer save gives a 'corrupt save' error on load. No one has ever bothered to fix the browser exploit to work in emunand (which is a pain because it's trivial to downgrade the browser in the emunand to a vulnerable one and still remain on the newest firmware). In-memory editing has been looked at (there was a thread on the first page here yesterday) but apparently that's not met with success either. The only options for cheating on this game are:

a) hook up a home-pass relay for extra hearts (kinda not really cheating)
b) get a 9.5.00-22 (sysnand) and use the browser exploit (I believe you'll also need a hardmod for this because updating shuffle will require an update to 9.5.00-23 which you'd need to roll-back afterward)

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    nvm it does support mine
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card

Slightly slower loading but a bit more convenient
