My first reaction when reading the OP's post, and sorry if this may be of any offence, was:

WTF IS THIS FUCKING RETARD TALKING ABOUT? A Spaniard willing to get into the USA by illegal means? First not making any sense and then treating us like the poor people we (fortunately) are not?

This, obviously, was a product of my contempt to most of USAns I hear talking about other countries (which I'm trying to change, as an user noted: we're all humans after all), and the fact that the OP assumed just because the website was in Spanish, it was "Spanish" (as from the south of Europe, you know). Anyway, that's just a note meaning: guys, it's annoying to hear about one's country as if it were an ass and yours was the finest toilet paper ever

Not meaning Mexico is an ass in any way, but that's the point of view many USAns share. And not meaning the USA is some fine toilet paper either XD Also, I try not to call brits americans or vice versa. Yeah, it was in Spanish... well, I guess you could check the domain's name. I learnt not just USA's and UK's, but many, many, many others (sometimes it's just a matter of logic).

Well, back on the main subject of the topic: don't worry, I don't think they stole your identity, it's a way more profitable to steal your muneez! Since, why would a poor person want your identity for, when they can simply have your money, which is what they're wanting your identity for? And since I bet the reason why they wanted your data was your money, and you cancelled or whatever-you-did with your bank account, I think you can sleep tight tonight

Heh, I got a similar email in GMail just now. It talks of different computers using my login info for Bank of America. I don't have anything with them, so I suspected something may be awry.

What's funny, is the site they sent me to wasn't hidden at all. I could see right in the mail the whole url, hosted at a .gov.lk (Sri Lanka) site. It brought up what looks like a BoA login page. I dropped the path from the URL, and the site is for the Sri Lankan Air Force. Heh, what sort of military gets their site hacked?
