Gaming I just realized a major fail for google chrome.

I'm capped atm and my net gets reset in 5 and a half hours, I still felt like downloading a one piece episode, so I'm downloading the episode and then I think hmm, this is slowing the whole net down, so I paused it, later I closed google chrome (my download was paused) When I opened chome later my download was cancelled, apparently lots of people have made complaints and google ceases to fix it.

Get a download manager. Only use Chrome to download small files. If it's big files, I'll just use jDownloader.

The server you're downloading from has to support resuming as well.

Many high-traffic ones don't because that also allows multi-part downlaods which are a big hit on the server.
