came on friday at like 11AM

the reader will only last about 20 uses or so
it breaks quickly so I suggest getting a new one
http://www.amazon.com/Sandisk-MobileMate-S...186&sr=8-20
that the one I got, works great

after the one with my m3 broke
also got that in 1 day shipping, same as RHS

and yes it works on every DS, lite or original

As for the GBA RAM expansion thing, M3 Sakura uses a 16MB swapfile on the MicroSD card. The GBA RAM only acts as a replacement source for this swapfile, allowing it to run a little bit faster because the RAM is faster than reading/writing on the MicroSD.
I would think it's best that you have an expansion pack of some kind if you use Sakura since using a swap file would only put additional strain on the MicroSD card.

i dunno much about technology. how bad is the additional strain on the microsd card? i dont think ill use m3sakura anyways unless a official english version is released with pretty good homebrew compatibility.

ok i just got my microsdhc card today. joe88 u said the reader that m3ds comes with wont last me very long. how do i kno if it becomes broken? does it stop reading the card or something? also it wont like corrupt my card will it? and lastly, i still dont have a ds yet. im going to borrow a friends ds phat for now. does the m3ds mess with the ds fw in any way? i dont want to break his ds or anything. and when i give it back to him, he should be able to play his games (the real games that he bought) right? lastly, is there any way future ds's will have a way to stop us from using m3ds real and other flash carts. im totally broke and dont have a job so its gonna take me a while to get a ds and im worry about random things lol.

edit forgot something. unfortunately i cant order online anymore so i need to buy a reader at a retail store. is this one any good?

this how mine broke
started saying the MicroSD card needed to be reformated
I put it back in the DS without reformating worked fine, everything read

tried the reader again, same thing
took it apart looked for anything blow, tried again and this time
the computer wont even detect it anymore
and thats how it is now in its current state

have that other reader that I posted works great

the M3 does not touch the DS firmware
no flash cart does

and to my knowledge, they shouldnt be able to stop the carts from reading
but you never know, they may release a new DS SKU and bam, every flash doesnt work with it
it works fine though on the DS and DS Lite

they remember the cheat code settings for what ever game you selected them for

ok. i bought a a-data class 6 4gb microsdhc card cause i thought games like the world ends with you and castlevania titles would work. but unfortunately they dont. twewy freezes on the first video, castlevania: por freezes at random places and the other castlevania title just gives me a white screen. im using the latest m3ds real fw not sakura. is there any way to fix this cause one of the reason i got the m3ds was to play twewy and castlevania.

Well, try formatting your microSD with FAT32..
I don't know about TWEWY, but Castlevania - Down of Sorrow worked flawlessly with mine SanDisk 4 GB Class2, so you shouldn't have problems for sure..

And for PoR problem, check http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=2681..

I think you should really try using Sakura with the SP1.....There is no risk of messing up your card, as it has DisKCheck which scans your microSD on bootup, and reports if there's any problems/fragmentation/corruption on card..

not much you can change in that menu.

download play mode disables patching, and tries to remove some problems with download play/freezing.

Well, I guess some people can play TWEWY, and some just don't....Nice you managed to run Castlevania properly..
I never tried to run TWEWY, but I know it gives a lot of problems with M3 Real.....Some people can't play it at all, some can fix by closing and opening NDS, and some can run game just fine....It probably depends on combination of M3 Real batch and some microSDs....

I really don't have any more ideas..
