Hacking I Just jacked a O3DSXL all up :(

Right then;

I was attempting to upgrade an O3dsXL (V4.4.0-U) to Emunand 9.5.

I used 3DNUS to get the 9.5, booted gateway and used BigBlueMenu to install the CIAs. I then powered it off.

now when I try to power it on, the power light turns on, and it hangs on a black screen. and that's it.

I'm assuming i broke it. Feel free to say anything hateful here, because I certainly have it coming.

Did you do a format emunand before updating it?

The only way to fix it is to reflash a NAND backup with a hard mod.

Hard modding a 3DS = soldering a microUSB port onto PCB of 3DS. It has been done. It can be done. There are tutorials on how to do it... some can even be paid to do so FOR you. All at buyer's risk of course. There's also a way to mod an SD adapater card to use.

The good news is you backed up your sysNAND. So it is an option...
