Hacking I just bought a Gateway. Can't get refund because it doesn't work with the New 3DS.

Lol the average temper, especially on this forum, is too busy foaming at the mouth over some nonsense or other. Not to mention all the false info floating around here.

According to a lot of tempers, Sky is the devil, can't play games online, and will instantly get you banned as soon as you put it into your N3DS.
Funny, since I've been using mine just fine.

Times have changed. You need to think ahead a couple steps to protect your investment. Always insure and request signature proof.

Had signature on my new 3ds, mailmax put it in my mailbox without getting the signature. Good thing I have a locked mailbox. But dang, one time they left a box with 2 water coolers just sitting on the floor in front of my mailbox. I live in a 100 unit apartment building and we have some druggies & other scum in it also. I was lucky I went and check on a sunday, because it wouldn't of been there on a monday.

Note: I live in a decent building, lots of nice people in it, we just get some units with people that suck. They generally are around for a few months till they get evicted.

Mainly the bit where you said you've spent some time on these forums. This reads like a post from someone who blindly bought what the salesperson told them to without any research at all.

Well to be fair, even on gateway's site they STRONGLY imply that n3ds is supported at least by beta until you REALLY look around.

That said, however, I stand by my best advice comment of keep the gateway(features) AND get a sky(works now) which is what I'm doing...

The average temper knows more than a seller thats for sure! About the Wii topic I have my personal that I wouldn't ever sell consider it has 8 years of saves on it! It would be smart to buy, hack, and resell tho!

Glad to see a mistake has worked out well.
The reseller should have known better.

You always have a chance to get another GateWay later on if it becomes relevant to New 3DS, and Sky makes a good place holder for the time being.

There is absolutely nothing on the site that says they support the New 3DS. In fact the first paragraph on the home page says "while we are still working on releasing our New 3ds support, we will not be able to provide support yet for 9.5 emunand or higher for New 3DS on release."
A little bit lower:
"Support for New 3DS is still a work in progress, please be patient!"

Bingo. I have a friend that bought into that hype and is still waiting, just because he skimmed the site, saw "Support for New 3DS is still a work in progress, please be patient!", and then caught a video showing that it worked months ago... Well, that was it. He bought it the same day. Yes this is 100% his fault, and I guarantee the GW team meant nothing malicious (I bet it's their Engrish), but it doesn't change the facts that 2 + 2 is still 4.

They should re-word the following line: "Support for New 3DS is still a work in progress, please be patient!" to "Our cart does not yet, and may never work with the New 3DS. We are working on remedying the issue, but as of now we do not support the New 3DS."
