Why not submit these "patches" to the Atmosphere devs as commits?

    They don't like sweets
    They say sweets cause diabetes

(es patches are just for piracy, nothing more, which reswitched team is against it)
(nosigchk if for unsigned NCAs, which makes possible of running nsp homebrews, they call it piracy too!!!! they prefer to stick to nro at all cost)
(I have no idea why they are against nocmac and nogc, but they don't like patches overall)

To be fair, if you're against piracy, why make custom firmware, when you know that's what people want it for? I'm sick of all these whiteknight hackers who are against piracy.

It's a necessary facade that keeps their reputation in good standing. If they wanted to, they could easily release patches under a different alias.

If I need to use nogc, should I merge the fspatches from the first and second parts?

nogc patches include es_patches, nosigchk, nocmac and nogc, so they cover all patches

Why their then less, than in the first pack? Because of the lower firmware?

yes, firmwares lower than 4.0.0 don't need nogc patch

I understand that. I asked because there are 18 patches in the first pack and only 10 in the second (nogc).

Each patch file is for a specific firmware version, so the nogc set doesn't need the patch files for lower firmware versions.

Atmosphère 0.7.4 is out and changed something about sysmodules. Are your patches still working with it, @The-4n? :)

What makes patches to not work?
1- New Nintendo firmware that changes es or fs (you must wait for adding new patches to op)
2- Some major changes in atmosphere's loader (patcher, drop support for ips) which is very unlikely to happen

    There's no other possibility

Thx for clarification. I guess you meant "not" though. :)
