Yeah so true! My friends son genuinely updated by accident. They don't care about a ban so were updating their NSP games on the Switch for ages. Then system update dropped and he accepted it thinking it was a game update. Doh!

I got to learn how to downgrade manually though.

It's kind of absurd that Atmosphere doesn't block system updates by default. A lot of this nonsense could be avoided.

ES patches which stand for Eticket Services let you install and launch unconverted .NSP files of pirated content aka stuff you don't own. FS patches which are basically fs_nosighck and ACID patches allow support for converted and installed .XCI files as well as homebrew .NSP files.

Read the posts above, as there is no es_patches for 8.0.0.

The one that says 8.0.0 works on 8.0.0 (again: it's just the FS patches).

Untested ES patches, i haven't updated to 8.0.0 yet and there are some bigger changes in the es module.
I can't garantee that these will work:

    Code:
    FW 8.0.0: 39E7884F7DDEA9BE4FF9F7187898FACC466A080A

    .text:000000000004EC7C
    F9 74 00 94 ; BL sub_6C060
    to
    0E 00 00 12 ; B + 0x12

    .text:000000000006CAD4
    73 53 FE 97 ; BL sub_18A0
    to
    1F 20 03 D5 ; NOP

    .text:000000000006CC34
    EB 6D FE 97 ; BL sub_83E0
    to
    F5 03 1F AA ; MOV X21, XZR

    ips patch: 50 41 54 43 48 04 EC 7C 00 04 0E 00 00 12 06 CA D4 00 04 1F 20 03 D5 06 CC 34 00 04 F5 03 1F AA 45 4F 46

    Hey @Falo,

I think there is a mistake in your listing.

    Code:
    .text:000000000004EC7C
    F9 74 00 94 ; BL sub_6C060
    to
    0E 00 00 12 ; B + 0x12

    Should be:

    Code:
    .text:000000000004EC7C
    F9 74 00 94 ; BL sub_6C060
    to
    0C 00 00 14 ; B + d'12

    And thus:

    Code:
    ips patch: 50 41 54 43 48 04 EC 7C 00 04 0C 00 00 14 06 CA D4 00 04 1F 20 03 D5 06 CC 34 00 04 F5 03 1F AA 45 4F 46
    Cheers!
