Hacking I have to get my DS Lite reapaired

heh i decided to go for the UPS envelope to save money but boy it takes a long time to get here.

3-10 business days? Then I gotta drop it off and that'll take 3-4 days and then they repair it with 3-4 days? they don't mention it but i bet shipping it back will take another.....i'm gonna miss contact and phoenix wright 2.

this may sound dumb but....do i remove the battery? lol

it says to remove any accessories etc. before sending and i figure battery just might be one of them

for the people who got the refurbed, does it come with a new stylus and dust cover? heh that would be nice.

it says to remove accessories, such accessories are styli, cases, screen protectors, etc. The battery is a component.

Although...if you remove the battery, would they not repair it? You could say that you thought you were supposed to remove it, and end up with an extra battery you could switch in for a few more hours of playing if you ever need to.

I was also wondering if they give you a new dustcover/stylus? I don't care much about the stylus, but having a new dustcover would be nice. Even if it would be useless.

if the battery wasnt behind a screw...it would be a good idea...Also i laugh everytime someone warns about the battery falling out during flashme....I cant get that damn thing out if i wanted too...i tried...while flashing...AT 45% LOL

It won't be long before someone gets back a refurbished unit with flashme installed on it. lol.

Forgot to report back here.
Send on monday, ups had it by my house on friday but they misdelivered or something.
Anyway, nintendo was really fast about it (ups on the other hand...) and DS lite shipped back.
Refurbished, doesn't come with new stylus/dust cover unless you asked for one for warrenty.

Flashed it, and it's all good.
