Ordered yesterday in UK, arrived today. Awesome. Just stuck the card from my R4 in and off it went. Cartridge has a slight lump under sticker where chip is, it loads a little slower than the R4, but seems to work just as well. Haven't played with download play yet but it seems pretty cool so far.

Excellent. How does it fair in performance and usability in contrast to the R4? And one question: The multimedia capabilities in Cyclo DS Evolution is provided for by Moonshell right?

    Thanks.

Bought from www.modchip-store.co.uk. OS is built into the chip, unlike the R4. It is moonshell, yes. Download play seems to be 100%, but only tried nanostray and New Super Mario Bros.
Sorry don't know how to post pics, but it comes in a tin with a reader and the cart, no instructions, nothing else at all in fact. Amazed it was here at 8am this morning, thought it would arrive late next week.
Usability wise, it seems the same as the R4, but instructions on how to change the theme etc would have been nice, as it's probably on one key or another. Boot from slot 2 and brightness and enhanced mode (don't know what that is yet) are in the third menu, where boot from slot 2 would be on the R4.

Where's the SD slot on it? Is it on top, like the R4, or on the side?

Does it support normal SD cards or just SDHC?

How much did you pay for shipping?

I've got a 1GB kingston from my R4 in it, works fine. Shipping was about £2 I think.

I like the in game brightness change menu and soft reset. Overall, it's a slicker R4. R4 is great at the price.

Because the R4 team also makes the M3 Simply, I wouldn’t be surprised if they made the Evolution as well. [IMG]

Could you do a castlevania: PoR test? I'm wondering about the performance. Thanks.

What would impress me is if this runs both Castlevanias perfectly on a slow card.
