I have the .nds file which I guess is a preview of it, but I ran the installer file and it works. I didn't install it because I wasn't sure if it would do anything or not.

I have an Acekard 2i running AKAIO 1.7 and I have the FWNITRO custom firmware on it. (in a directory) Can I install the FWNITRO firmware using Installer via Acekard?

You can install FWNITRO if you really want, but why on earth would you? The original DS firmware is much better. What use would you have for replacing the firmware on your DS with FWNITRO?

Well, my friend told me it can't be possible, but my DS Lite isn't flashed. Can I still install it?

It doesn't matter if your DS is flashed or not, it can be installed. It replaces the default firmware, so whether the firmware is original or FlashMe is irrelevant. But I ask again, why do (you think) you want FWNITRO?
