Hacking I have firmware 9.7 what can I do?

Hi I am a noob to the 3ds but not a noob to softmodding I understand it is harder to mod the 3ds on later firmware.
I am on 9.7 and my main objective is to be able to download 3ds games for free such as Pokemon sun, majoras mask 3d ect
What is the best way to achieve this and can I follow 11.3 tutorials?

You can still type 3ds.guide, it just redirects... I think there should be 1 hack.guide and you select the system you're trying to mod.
