Hacking I have an American PSN account, and I'm in Europe.

If I buy stuff off there with a card code, will it work on my European PSP? It's cfw also (6.39 PRO-C)

I can connect and browse the store, but when I try and d/l one of the PSP demos, it hangs on "activating" and shows an error code eventually. The code is (80029780)

I tried getting it on my PS3 and got the same error.

Hi, yes you can use downloaded content from US PSN on a European PSP, as long your console is activated to your US account.

The error code you mention i believe usually occurs as you switch from US to European PSN accounts and/or the other way around. I assume you do it, as it happens to me as well owning both Us and French PSN accounts.
To fix you have to go through the process of changing the PSN account email you want to use to another email adress .. Then activate the console again. The email change should fix your problem at least it does the trick for me.

Edit : Maybe necessary to first desactivate the account you're not using as you activate the other.. Search about email and activation/desactivation that is 100% sure!
