Wtf are you kidding ? They steal code from other developers and give them no credit, and they are continuing to stole others work.
I surely won't give them any money neither should you. You can do everything sx os do for free, no sense to pay 40 bucks only for the dongle. Buy a dragon injector then.

That's rubbish, pure speculation! what code exactly have they supposed to of stolen? please break it down for me I would like to here your facts on this.
I say, they did not steal any code, lets start with tinfoil for example, they had the nsp installer in the works well before tinfoil was even known about and tbh that cannot install updates or dlc so it's quite useless to work with I cannot see why they would need to go and steal code from that, there CFW was one of the first fully functioning cfw builds to be properly released, which has a much better display and intuitive design about it than any other cfw to date, it has XCI loading which no others have. So far they have developed everything better than any other cfw build, it's a fact! Actually I would go as far as to say other cfw developers have stolen code from them ie patches for nsp use! how about that Sherlock...

Edit: By the way you might just be eating all your words with a good piece of humble pie because once Nintendo put a block on nsp/cdnsp use you will have no other choice than to buy one!

Show me your proof ? Were is the evidence, side by side comparison ?
Just another person on the band wagon talking, not knowing the truth...
It may or may not be stolen/copied,
but the opensource/free material was never copyrighted or protected,so anyone can do as they please..
Team X deliver and its right there for a user to pick up and use..
I have both sx os and opensource, and think they work for my needs great, who are you to suggest others shouldnt pay for a easy solution

And show me the free/opensource Xci loader please that we have ?

If this upsets you then you need to grow up

Edit damn it reecey you beat me to it whilst i was typing and eating pizza :P

You can't because all tx do is closed source , so no help for other developers on switch. If you are so wishful to spend money than give a donation to Rei or sciresM not that team ;)
    Check this however https://gbatemp.net/threads/gpl-101-atmosphere-and-sx-os.511312/

First of all it's been proven that they have stolen code, mostly from Atmosphere, look it up right here https://gbatemp.net/threads/proof-tx-used-code-stolen-from-reswitched.509329/. Second of all the latest version of tinfoil CAN install updates and DLC. Hell you can even choose where you want it to install the stuff, sys nand or sd card. The fact that SXOS does have XCI support is nice but t doesn't make it any better than using a .NSP. Inb fact it makes it a bit more bothersome since you have to keep switching which .XCI is "active" at the time. Sure the fact that they have a completely portable solution for booting into CFW is nice and a big advantage towards them but the rest? also saying that other devs stole from them is ridiculous, where is your proof of that?

Maybe i may donate maybe i will not,i will spend my money as i please ...
Just maybe think before you post friend,Research..
    Have a nice day yeah.

    — Posts automatically merged - Please don't double post! —

This only proves that the code is the same, who stole from who ? maybe the coder of atmosphere stole it from tx ,
Its all warez, So why do you or anyone really give a fck were it has come from... i sure as sh"t do not...
Its there ready to be used... i support both sxos and the opensource devs and greatfull they have given me options and choices..Dont believe everything you read, everyone would like the glory or 1st place..

And please dont compare nsp and xci ffs both have there cons and pros.
    The key word is OPENSOURCE.

From my understanding all 5.1 has ExFat support but you need to explicitly select to install it.

Yes I use autoRCM. Why not? I have full backups. I never fully power down my systems anyway, they always sleep. I suppose if you didn’t want to dock it when not in use, or put it away for a long period of time then you would want to power it down. That is an edge case for me and our 3 units and can be handled from Hekate if needed.

Although as I have mentioned before keeping the option to downgrade to 4.1 is looking less useful to me as time goes on, but having options is always a good thing as we never know will be discovered and released.

https://gbatemp.net/threads/gpl-101-atmosphere-and-sx-os.511312/ reading trough this topic, the dates coincide way too much. Also this topic clearly states that SXOS does violate GPLV2 licensing violations, regardless of who copied from who(Like i said the dates are way too close to be a coincidence. Personally speaking i don't care if TX took code from Atomosphere or not, i don't use SXOS ori f Atmosphere took code from SXOS. HOWEVER i do recognize and admit that someone copied from someone, there just isn't enough evidence to say with 100% certainty who copied from who

Guys, take any discussion of stolen code to another thread. This is a thread to help a noob get set up in hacking his Switch. Regardless if they did or did not steal code, GBATemp doesn't officially support the fact that they did otherwise they would not condone links to their website that contains their CFW.

In an effort to stay on-topic, @Roxasorg13 exFAT support is available for firwmares 2.0+ but you needed to have inserted an exFAT formatted SD card which will download the exFAT update onto your console as well as the latest firmware version. So its not so much that 5.1 has exFAT support, but you needed to be on the latest firmware to get exFAT, before homebrew had a solution. ChoiDujourNX and other tools can add exFAT support without you being on the latest firmware. The only way to check if you have the exFAT update or not is by inserting an exFAT formatted SD card into the console and then checking if the console prompts for an update. If it does, you do not have the exFAT update installed.

Thanks a lot! I already installed the exfat update without burning fuses nor using AutoRCM!

Now the problem im facing is an error 2168-0002 when i try to open kezplez to dump my keys.txt files
Do you know anything about this error?

Did you follow all of the instructions of using kezplez? The first step to use kezplez involves using another tool to dump the fuse info and console keys from Hekate. Below is a post that Canna wrote to help someone else who suffered from the same issue.

@Draxzelex IIRC When I was first setting up my 4.1 fresh Switch it did not prompt for an update and just gave an error code when I tried to launch HB. Easily fixed by putting in a fat32 card and then running ChoiDujourNX.

Yeah because you need to install exFAT before you can use exFAT :P

I realize that, but you the system did not prompt me for to update when used an ExFat SD, just errored. Maybe because I did not set up an Nintendo account? (Still haven’t)

Maybe because you were running CFW which does mess up how the Switch handles certain things. For example, if you try to load ReiNX with an exFAT formatted SD card on a console without exFAT, it stays black after the splash screen.

Double check that the size is correct. This is kind of hard to verify but some games have their size posted online. Also ensure that the name is under 64 characters and uses only alphanumeric code. To make things easier on you, just rename them simple things. Also you can delete the .NSP files on your SD card after they are installed.

The tools to decompress their software are public and readily available. It's not hard to open their compiled code in a decompiler and compare their compiled code directly with the compiled code of open-source projects. The psuedo-code matches, and so do many strings and other dead giveaways. This has been proven and has been public knowledge for many months, deluding yourself with false beliefs won't help your case.

I say do all 3! SX OS is great, love the Pro dongle. They have that new one that is easy to put other payloads on(Jealous) XCI files are easy to deal with and work well. Who knows what will happen with the bans though. Best I understand it, you have to be on the latest firmware to go online and use personally dumped XCI files with an UNIQUE header to avoid a ban. I am on 3.0.1.. I tried updating to 5.1 but to avoid burning the GC fuse I had use Hetake with ReiNX and I missed the dongle and the XCI loading. Also the NoGC patch SLOWS the system. I also did have a couple freezes TBO and I wound up going back to 3.0.1. with SXOS(Pro) I can play all the games I like for now. (SMO, Skyrim, Xenoblade 2) Since I am on 3.0.1 online is off the table but I don't miss it.. I found ReiNX and RajNX to be comparable to each other. I like tinkering with the other CFWs out there. I will be sure to try all the options. I am looking forward to a cold-boot option. Other than that SXOS is the cleanest most full featured solution for now. You get treated bad for it around here. All the Anti Gateway Nazi Software Justice Warriors around here have turned in to the Anti SX SS Crew and try to persuade you not to use it. If you can afford it, it's actually working well. Less issues so far. But to go online currently in SXOS you must be on the latest firmware. You can go ahead and update legit to go online in SXOS or Use RAJ/ReiNX with with No Fuses Burnt but you'll have to deal with the NOGC fuckery or have no GC slot when you downgrade. But then you'll be online..
