I'm trying to physically break my wii beyond repair. I don't care if I have to pay. I want to break it so I can send it into Nintendo, and not worry about Nintendo finding my vc injecctions. Any way could help even [IMG] .

    Get a hammer.

If you want to brick your Wii, use AnyTitle Deleter or Title Uninstaller to remove some System Menu and IOS titles.

Why don't you just uninstall your WADs ? The ticket and content will be removed.

If it helps, I've had my machine "repaired" due to the WiiConnect24 overheat issue. They just tossed my old machine and gave me a new one. I didn't even bother to uninstall the Homebrew channel.

    Cheers.

well it has to be accidental, or my parents won't pay to fix it. My wii is banner bricked, and I want physically destroy the harddrive. I was thinking about dropping it on cement, and when I'm alone I'm going to throw it on the ground over and over.

Pfft, I sent my Wii in for a new disc drive with quite a few WADs installed on it, even the Homebrew Channel, and they didn't care. They left it all there working fine. [IMG]

I already read it. I asked how likely it is I'll get in legal trouble, someone said it's a good chance. I want to be sure I don't get into any.

It seems that Nintendo don't care to even look at the memory.

If they wanted to sue pirates however, they could probably find evidense if they really wanted.

Would swiping a very powerful magnet over the hard drive work just like doing it to a computer one?

I don't see why you don't just uninstall all the bad stuff you have in it or just format it completely unless you can't get into it.

Good luck trying to break it while making it look accidental. Pretty sure G4 did a test on which console is the sturdiest; they broke an xbox, a ps2, and a gamecube, and the gamecube was still working fine after being dropped from very far. Nintendo is good at making sturdy systems.

Open up your wii, Locate the Flash NAND chip and break a few solder connections and get a lighter, make a burn mark around the Flash NAND so it looks like it set on fire and the solder wiped off, close the wii and send it off.

[IMG] Dude he means Software brick not Hardware [IMG] (The way I understand it...?)

    Brick's: (software)
Installing an update from a another region (Witch leads to semi-brick or full-brick)(you must pick the right game for a full brick)

    Use Any title deleter.

Use Waninkoko's region changer. [IMG] + Danger message read it. [IMG] You will learn how to brick your Wii. [IMG]
    &
Tona's region changer and misuse it. [IMG]

Install a banner brick wad file.

Install too many wads. (that leads to space problems or bricking? I don't know.)

    Use Starfall

Internet / disc update your Wii and turn Internet of / out put your disc mid in the update. (Guess that is a good one for Nintendo [IMG] )

    Brick info (Wiibrew.org)

    Note:
All those named applications are safe enough normal... But you can easy brick your Wii if you want to [IMG]

    Brick's: (hardware)
Hold on 24 connect so your Wii will head up and cause problems may even to a brick like you can't access the Wii menu anymore. (If you hold it on long enough or help it and head your Wii up your self too [IMG] )

And/Or read the japans Wii warning guide:
    1
    2
    3
    4
    5
    (youtube)

    That's all folks [IMG]
