Hacking I have a clone R4I RTS 3DS flash card that I want to use on my 3DS XL. Is it possible?

I'm a newbie when it comes to flashing kernels and software but I have tried 1.50 from the official website and it says "failed" when I tried to update it.

Am I stuck?

I have an old Nintendo DS that I could use to update it but I'm not sure what all it entails.

My card is from 2014 I believe. How do I determine which firmware my card is running? Is there a special form of software I need to run for me to tell it?
