I have a 1tb HD on my wii u and it is being wasted. Any ideas how to partition it?

I wanted to make the wii u only detect only like 150gb so I could use the other 850 for storage on my PC. Is there any way to make this work?

Can't you just use Disk Management in Windows to partition your HDD the way you want, and just set the portion for your Wii U as Primary?

It's not possible to partition a drive used by the WiiU.
Use a different, smaller, drive for WiiU if you want to use that one for other things.

The Wii U uses the whole drive, so better buy a smaller one

I'd recommend something like this. It was nice not having a large drive hooked up to my console - but my collection has ballooned to over 500GB.

Not possible bro. The WiiU needs to use the whole drive. Sorry but you're out of luck here.
