I used to use a computer with 512MB RAM and about 698GHz processor >.>
Until i got my laptop

I suggest you get a laptop.
If you need a cheaper option just buy a netbook and they will serve you ok

I'd love to use a processor like that, but the GHz myth being a fake... it won't do shit at all.

well,my pc is old too,but iv recently (like 2 years ago) installed ubuntu (linux)
and its like a fresh air in a hot summer day,it needs some low spects to run ,it boot fast like 10 sek or a little more (depends on the pc but usually faster than any windows) also it offers a "app store" with 3000 + free apps and games + some commercial one ,for example "the world of goo" also in some cases you must compile the prog to make it run it and in this process you learn something new
so why not give it a try ,you have nothing to lose

p.s i must warn you ,if you try ubuntu out of a usb its damn slow ,also the flash its not good like windows

It's a Pentium 4, it has 512mb RAM and built in 64mb VRAM incompatible with even DX8. That's exactly like my PC

No! Bolloxs! You are in Japan therefore (in my version of reality*) you have have a superdooper J7 cpu ( Lynnefield is so last century), 27 1/2 Gb's of RAM and a Jvidia Quadro 3 Million.
So there.


*The official version is overrated in my opinion.
