If you really want to try it yourself and are not familiar with SMD soldering.

Remove the board from the housing.

Heat the remaining component with a soldering iron and add solder to remove it.

Use a desoldering wick to clean the pads(flat tip + flux).

Use solder paste on the pads and place the components.
(The solder paste helps to place the components and hold them in place.)

Use tweezers to hold the components in place and use a soldering iron (fine tip) to melt the paste and solder the SMD components to the board.
I finally found an expert and decided to leave it to the experts

Have you done soldering before, I modded my v1 switch now all my cousins want me to mod their v2 switch, i said I'll do it in the moment (because how hard could it be) but ngl I'm not qualified, and the pressure is on me now 😭😭

It's fairly easy to mod a v2 but that's speaking with my own experience.

With absolutely no experience it can be pretty easy to mess things up, and if you're ignorant, careless or don't understand how things can cause issues, then a simple installation can turn real sour, real quick... As evidently shown by this thread.

Leave it to a professional or learn yourself with a switch that won't matter if it breaks.

I love them for trying actually: how do you know if it's too hard until you try it?
And you get excellent posts with brilliant titles, hopefully the next guy reads this and makes his own assessment if he's gonna try something like this. I hope he does and this post helps him in doing so.

Turning a switch on without heatsink for a short time to test won't kill it i often do it to test repairs.

More then likely the switch already had a bad bga joint. the heatsink was the only thing holding it togther. Try pushing down on the apu or ram to see if it boots if so reflow

just noticed you have missing components....
