Out of the box City Folk doesn't support the classic controller extension for Wii Remote, so injecting the game with Classic Controller, forced or not, didn't do a thing and your only option was to launch it regularly and have a Wii Remote. But the game had Nunchuck Support for 90% of interactions.

That's where this thread comes in https://gbatemp.net/threads/play-super-mario-galaxy-using-the-wii-u-gamepad.641530/

Repacking the game of choice with Gecko Codes for Classic Controller remapping was done for Super Mario Galaxy and injected with Nintendont. I just tried it for City Folk and it WORKS.

Grab the Classic Controller codes for your version of the game, in this topic: https://gbatemp.net/threads/new-classic-controller-hacks.659837/

Next, go to this site https://mariokartwii.com/gct/

Type in the TitleID of your version (US: "RUUE01", EU: "RUUP01") and give a title such as "Classic Controller" and paste in the codes from the other thread.

Download the GCT to a folder that's convenient which will contain just the WBFS or ISO rom of the game, and this file.

Basically from here you follow the Mario Galaxy Classic Controller guide but with this game instead. It's a nifty and quick guide to use. When the game has been repacked with the Classic Controller codes, just take the new Rom and Inject with WiiVCInjector or UWUVCI and use "Classic Controller" option in the Gamepad option.

And VOILA! You now have Animal Crossing City Folk (aka Let's Go to The City in Europe) fully playable on the Gamepad. Whenever you need the Wii Remote pointer, you push X on the gamepad, and steer the pointer with the analog stick of choice.

I hope this guide will help people who got stuck injecting this game, like I did.

My friend, thank you so much for this!
just a thought, but maybe a better name for this would be "Animal Crossing City Folk Classic Controller Mod for Wii U Inject"

Can something like this be implemented for Sonic Riders Zero Gravity? Game supports the GC controller, Wii remote sideways, and Wii remote vertical, but not classic controller support, you CAN make it work with the gamepad using the Wii remote sideways method for example but you need a way to input shaking the remote to do a Dive Move, also controlling the game with the d-pad isn't ideal, can there be a gecko code that remaps the d-pad to analog and emulate the remote shake to a button?

The UWUVCI app supports something like this. You should be able to make the WUP installable with that and just select "Emulate Wii Remote Sideways"

I can't use uwuvci it does not support my win7 computer and borrowing my sister's win10 computer it won't create the wup installable for some reason... but I suppose if loadiine works I can use that.

Oh it's some WinApp stuff huh.
There's also that other injection program that UWUVCI is based on. Can't remember its name. But I think that would be Win7 compatible.

Would love to learn more about it if true, can you remember it? There is a similar tool for injecting VC to the 3DS that one worked really great.

The one problem I have with a lot of beard balms like that is that they smell so intensely that it's like the only thing I can smell for an hour
  • Veho @ Veho:
Question, what does a beard balm/wax actually do? Is it just a hair oil product, or does it act as a gel and shapes it or what?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Yeah it's a hair oil, kind of like a leave-in conditioner, but it also helps to keep your skin under the beard moisturized a bit, and since it is oily it does help a tiny bit with helping it hold its shape or lay flatter especially after brushing it

I rarely ever use it, really only if I'm going out and trying to look/smell a tiny bit nicer. Kind of like how I treat cologne lol

The one I have right now that I use every once in a while is tobacco + vanilla scented. It smells -fantastic- IMO, but same issue, for like the first hour or two it is just an ever present scent that I smell on every single inhale.
