Homebrew I feel like the universe doesn't want me to downgrade my N3DS.

Menuhax to the rescue? If you get an error message partway though (for me it was like after 5 minutes or so) dont panic, it happens

It says to power off the 3DS.

if its in the guide then do what it says, and repeat the steps after checking for any problems.

For me, at this point I booted into the system, I had to load browserhax, and then I reinstalled menuhax. then I rebooted into the homebrew launcher from menuhax, and ran the plaisysupdater again, and it completed correctly the second time.

That's not all it says. Read it carefully and make sure you are reading it right.

It says that if it crashes then I have a partial downgrade and am able to recover from it.

Had that happen both times with me, but only with the 2.1 downgrade. I had to load the browser, put the SD card back in, and then run the exploit in part 4 to get the OTP. Pretty much what the guide said.

I don't think I can downgrade again just to get something that will give me an "untether" jailbreak on my 3DS. XD I can barely handle downgrading now lol.

If you can't handle it, why are you doing this? You can already get homebrew, and the point of downgrading is for cfw like the guide says.

Plus it's the middle of the night. Downgrading while tired is a very common cause of crashes- I mean bricks. XP Even an experienced person such as myself was terrified when I was doing it both times. Nearly gave myself heart attacks through the entire process. It just takes patience. Lots of patience. You can't rush a delicate process like this.

The title of this thread is entirely accurate at this point tbh. My SD card is fully inserted and the browser refuses to load.

No, I mean, I can handle it, but going through all those steps to have a fully hacked 3DS just seems a bit much to me. I'm happy with the way my O3DS is set up. Menuhax + Luma3DS.
