I tried applying a No Lines patch to my copy of Ultra Moon, and it won't work. I have my Luma configuration settings set to apply game patches, and I have version 1.2 of UM.
I am able to dump my copy to Cia format for the worst case scenario that I need to use it to apply the patch, cause I'm getting the gut feeling that it won't work with retail cartridges due to the memory being read only. The only problem is that my SD card isn't a big enough size to even have UM on it. It's only 2GB.
Are my assumptions correct or am I not doing it correctly?
