I Can't get Metroid Dread to run on FW 13.0.1 / ATM1.2.1

I just updated my Switch from (FW 11.0.1 / AMS 0.18.0) to (FW 13.0.1 / AMS 1.2.1) and pretty much everything runs great.

Except for Metroid Dread...

I get the classic "The software was closed because an error occured." splash page at bootup of the game.

I have the latest Sigpatches for 13.0.1
I boot with Fusee payload
I installed game NSP and update through Goldleaf 0.9.0
Using a 512gb microSD card in exFAT

Why is Metroid Dread so special as not to boot?
I got the NSP in the usual places, I do not think that would be the problem.

Ideas anyone?

I have latest firmware and AMS, dread working fine here.

First check if You have latest sigpatches (just use AIO Switch Updater to update sigs) and if you will still get errors then reinstall Metroid, maybe you have some files broken due to faulty sdcard or whatever.

I updated by removing Atmosphere folder and installed full DeepSea Advanced package fyi

We have pretty much the same set up here and I had a similar issue with SkateBird. I redownloaded and reinstalled it and it fixed it, so I suggest the same for MD.

Dread works fine for me too.

ps
if you using saltynx you should disable it. saltynx (v0.4.0a-hotfix) causing metroid dreed stuck on nintendo loading screen

Indeed, going to the mellow snake proved usefull, I was able to make the game work with a different version. Thanks a lot for your advice ppl!!
