Hacking i can't exchange my ds lite for a new one

ne one is Australia managed to exchange their ds lite to nintendo, because of a cracked hinge? I tried last month and they wouldn't accept it. Any suggestions?

Contact the local Nintendo support. If they don't help you at first, show them the articles, found online, on those problems and try to ask for a new one.

wish i could do that, but i got my ds lite by trading my old one in and 2 games at EB

Without the receipt, you can't do anything.

Although you can always borrow one receipt if one of your friends has a ds lite.

2. Go to local Wal-Mart and buy another DSL.
3. Go home and exhange the back cover and return it.

I do have the receipt, but it only lasts 7 days

Hmmm, The laws in canada state you have 7 days to get your money back and 30 day's for an exchange or you can sue.

Or at least make it very uncomfortable for a store manager or clerk

Well, I had a busted touchscreen (and it WAS Nintendo's fault) and my store refused to take it. So I simply used noFlashME and that broke PictoChat and Settings. They replaced it immediatelly afterwards
