I think so, that the key is the serial number.
That's why I tell my story and hope that the increase in sample size could help.
I don't really understand why is a proof immediately requested. Is there a lot of fake infor in this forum or what? I have just created an account and leave my first comment because I think that it might help. It feels bad to be questioned like I was trying to lie.

Btw I bought my device in HK too, on 9July at night. Did OP buy the device in SSP too?

Hi, I bought my device from Khun Tong Plaza area.
Seems that the shop just restocked the devices.
That mean maybe the "patched" devices have not been filled up every shops yet.
So I will find another spare device soon from SSP.
Thanks for the info ewabc886, appreciate it. :)

Hong Kong and China gets their stock Directly from Japan. So you guys might be in the line to get newer Switches quicker than the US, AUS and Europe.

The best thing is if you want homebrew/hackable go out and buy one now. I have a feeling in a few months if they do 100 percent ship unit's that do not support SXOS/others the price will skyrocket on older switches.

I am personally up to 3 switches. One for online, one for home brew, and one updated to 5.1 with exfat support download that I put away in case I ever need it.
There are 12 million hackable switches out there. Only about 1-2% of Switch owners will hack their Switch. There will always be a healthy supply of used, hackable switches. The price will not skyrocket, or go up at all. Now if a coldboot solution ever appears for Switches that are on firmware 3.0 or below, then you can expect the price of those to rise substantially.

Depends on what happens with Mariko. If an NSwitch/Switchi appears and that gets hacked, then the original Switch might end up as desirable as a gamecube or wii (the wiiu annoyingly is still priced quite high here second hand).

<removed the video because BIS KEY is clearly visible on it, will cut it out and repost>

I went out to get another spare Nintendo Switch on the same model but lower serial number.
And it still works fine.
I hope this video give you the idea to avoid XAJ7004XXXXXX if you want to exploit your nintendo switch.

TX is having a hard time finding a 'problematic' console in the right 'serial number range':

NewSwitch410_4.jpg

As such they are asking for community help in supplying them with more non-working units so they can diagnose the problem and come up with solution.

Check out my news post before, about how they will infact buy or replace the Switch with working model, and cover the shipping costs to send them the non-working one.

TX has bought 5 of this 'problem' consoles and got them all working fine with their SX PRO:

https://www.maxconsole.com/threads/...on-hac-s-jxe-c3-latest-switch-revision.47430/

But they still need the community help in finding consoles that clearly are not working with SX PRO, not talking about homemade jigs or 'software' payload uploads', but SX PRO owners.

You can contact them if you have one, and they will buy the unit off you, or swap it for compatible unit and cover shipping/handling, so check out the video, and news post. -- Enjoy! :)

wow just wow TX great job.

Its like you're not actually paying attention to what people are talking about. These aren't patched.

You don't track a revised bootloader based on: the HAC nomenclature, you do so based on the serial of the HAC.

That video clearly shows the serial number is XAJ7003 not XAJ7004(this being the serial number that's supposedly patched).

Sorry to cause more entropy, but XAJ700418XXXXX is not the cause by itself. Just got myself a brand new one in Portugal, it is a XAJ700418 console and I can send the payloads. Still on 4.1.0. Opened it, booted for first setup, RCM'd it, pushed biskeydump payload, reboot to Hekate 3.2 and now I'm backing up to SD card.
