So I was able to access recovery mode using a GameCube controller, my question is what do I do know unbrick?

    Specs
    4.3u
    Has GameCube support
Bannerbrick possibly because I installed a bad channel.

    Please help me

    recovery mode? you mean BootMii?

Is it isntaleld as an IOS or as BootMii2?

Do you have a nand back up?

If no, then you can reinstall system menu, or launch homebrew channel and then delete the corrupted banner/channel you installed.

In theory you should be able to insert a game disc with the latest SM update on it and it will install, but I've never seen anyone reply that it actually works.

By recovery mode I mean SaveMiiFrii,
How do I launch the Homebrew channel from my bricked wii?

I have a lot of Wii games so if you can tell me which ones update or not that will be great, I reply often

I'm not 100% sure but I think you need a modchip for recovery mode to be useful, as you'd have to patch an ISO of one of the exploitable games so that it autoboots, and from there boot into AnyTitle Deleter and delete the offending title.
Updating the system from a game disc won't fix a banner brick.

Anyway to fix without a modchip?

Edit: my bootmii is installed as boot2, but does not launch on start, any ideas?

Not unless you have BootMii as boot2 or Priiloader I think.

Maybe you're just missing the BootMii files on the SD card. Does the drive LED flash twice when you power on the Wii?

Then you either have bootmii.ini set to autoboot system menu, or you have BootMii as IOS.

Edit the file in the bootmii folder and remove the AUTOBOOT and BOOTDELAY lines.

Then you probably have BootMii as IOS which doesn't provide brick protection.
You might need to get a modchip.

Depends on your drive model. Older drives have cheaper chips. Solderless modchips cost more, and don't work at all on newer drives. I'm unsure about availability of modchips these days, since no one uses them anymore.

So I saw a drivekey modchip for 35$, my system is on 4.3u and is pre-q4 2008, so will it work?
