Any fix? I tried to open it up to see if there was something wrong with a/the ribbon cable that makes the top screen display color. I opened it up, popped it open but i noticed that a cable snapped while trying to open it. My DSi isnt turning on anymore. Can I fix it or is it dead?

its not a hopeless break, it can be fixed if you know someone with a good pinpoint soldering iron and some flux

It looks like it didn't rip any of the pads when coming off so should be an easy resolder job. You'll have to find someone with the necessary soldering skills to reattach that.
Maybe message the guy that was trying to sell switch mod chip soldering services.
Oh man, been there done that, you can easily attach it again with a heat gun and some solder flux.
