How do I boot into that?

I know holding the reset button when powering on is supposed to load you into Priiloader, at least, that's what it does for me.

It's not loading Priiloader, however.

And I might have one, if not, they're findable, right?

to boot into BootMii you need certain files into your SD card, and there is a tool that can convert some NAND dump into a dump for your Wii's NAND, but you'll need your Wii's keys (don't remember the name of the tool tho)

I don't mean to doublepost... but wouldn't putting a newer (( Title with a firmware update, like SMG2 or Arc Rise Fantasia )) title in it force it to go to the update screen?

I can just update it, then put the HBC back on it, can't I?

How would you boot the game if you can't go to the S.Menu?

*shrug* One older topic said that if a game with an update-force was put in, it'd go straight to the update screen.

I'm running out of options here.

I think that meant if your Wii was unbricked and after you launched it...

Well, it's still bricked.

Priiloader won't load, game with 4.3 update doesn't pop up.

Any other solutions before I go buy another Wii?

Extract HBC-Forwarder.zip to sd:\ and sd:\apps\HBC -extract to both.
Extract priiloader 0.5 to sd:\apps
Download hacks.ini to sd:\
Extract Multi-Mod Manager 13.2 to sd:\apps
Extract cios60-v6174.zip to sd:\wad
Extract (4.1u)-System Menu-NUS-v449.zip to sd:\wad

Hold reset, boot the wii into preloader
Select load/install
Install HBC-forwarder
Select preloader settings, set autoboot/return to installed file
Reboot the wii, HBC loads
Launch MMM
Select load another ios -load ios250
Select wadmanger
Install cios60-v6174
Install system menu v449 (4.1u)
Press 2 to load App Manager
Launch HBC
Load Priiloader 0.5
Hold B press +/A -Install
Hold reset and boot into priiloader
select system menu hacks, enable block disk/online updates and any others you like. Be sure you know what they do. The black screen at startup does just that.

thank you so much. i followed your instructions to the letter and now am back in my wii!! i am so grateful and thankful both to you and to everyone else who donated their time to this noob. "you have saved our lives. we are eternally grateful"

thanks,

Ein.
